A Windows Mobile 5 or 6 Smartphone or PDA Team Calendar runs on the following devices: Windows Mobile 5 and 6 Smartphones and PocketPCs Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition See supported devices list here See unsupported devices list here
Internet Access from your Smartphone or PDA TeamCalendar reaches your colleague’s calendars using standard http or https, so your device needs to have an Internet connection. Your operator will supply you with the information needed to get online. You can test your Internet connection by browsing any website from the built-in browser (Pocket Internet Explorer) of your Smartphone or PDA.
Enabled Web Access to your Microsoft Outlook TeamCalendar uses Outlook Web Access to connect to your colleagues’ calendars. This is the same way you connect to Outlook from an Internet browser while on-the-move. Often you enter an address in your internet browser like: https://mail.mycompany.com. You will need to enter that address into TeamCalendar. Ask your IT supporter if you do not have it.
Note: TeamCalendar needs Microsoft Exchange 2003 SP2 on your company’s server. See general FAQ for further information
Minimum 2 MB of free memory If your Smartphone or PDA runs Windows Mobile 5 you will need some additional software (Standard Microsoft add-ons) which will be downloaded automatically when installing TeamCalendar. This may lead to the need of up to additionally 10 MB of available memory. You will be notified of the needed memory when starting the TeamCalendar installation.
Increase availability and performance To increase availability and performance, your team members’ calendars are stored locally and then updated upon your request from TeamCalendar. The space needed depends on the number of calendars retrieved and the number of appointments in the calendar. An average calendar takes up 200 kb of additional storage, meaning that, to access the calendars of 10 colleagues in TeamCalendar, you will need about 2MB of additional storage.
