FAQ - TeamCalendar EnterpriseDoes the TeamCalendar Gateway need to be in the same Active Directory as the Exchange sever? No, the TeamCalendar does not need to be registered in any domain or AD. It will work fine as a stand-alone server.
Does ASP.NET services need to have full trust to work or can we apply a limited trust level? The ASP.NET services run in the security context of the standard ASP.NET worker process (Network Service) and does not require any special permissions.
Does the TeamCalendar Gateway need any additional rights on the server? Yes, it has to be able to write log files in a folder, so the process will need read/write rights to that folder. The path of the folder can be configured in a configuration file that is located on the TeamCalendar Server
How do we change the TeamCalendar Gateway, if we are already using your hosted Gateway? There is a XML settings file located on the device. Change the address of the service URL to the one to your Enterprise TeamCalendar Gateway.
Which version of .NET do we need to run the TeamCalendar Gateway? The TeamCalendar Gateway requires .NET 2.0 (ASP.NET 2.0) to run.
