Xfinity Mobile Arena sits in the South Philadelphia sports complex, next to the home stadiums of Philadelphia's baseball and football clubs. It is a district built around game days, with wide lots and plazas rather than a dense street grid, so most fans eat and spend time beforehand in Center City or in the South Philadelphia neighborhoods closer to downtown, then head south for the game.
